ISAS Accreditation - The First Service
We are proud to announce that our diagnostic imaging service
is the first Imaging Service to have met the rigourous quality
standards required by the Imaging Services Accreditation
Scheme (ISAS).
ISAS has been developed
jointly by the Royal College of Radiologists and the Society and
College of Radiographers and is administered and independently
assessed by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
ISAS is a developmental process,
which requires a continual improvement to services based around 4
core domains - Patient, Clinical, Safety and Facilities
incorporating resources and workforce. It is specific to
radiology and requires evidence on every criterion and onsite
inspections. The accreditation demonstrates that we deliver a
patient focused imaging services to the community using competent
staff, in a clean and safe environment.
To mark this significant achievement Lord Lindsay, UKAS Chairman
will host an Award Presentation Ceremony on December
20th at our Cheltenham Centre,
Current and past Presidents of the Royal College of Radiologists
and College of Radiographers will be in attendance, together with
senior representatives from the UK radiology and oncology
community.
