The current clinical standard, our 1.5 Tesla Achieva & Intera MRI advanced whole body scanners are fully equipped with the latest coils, software & technologies. With short bores that are flared wide open at both ends these scanners provide for patient comfort and excellent image quality.

The ability to modify the scan parameters with real time reconstruction and viewing enables us to take quick and accurate images of complex anatomies and gives superb results for fast techniques and larger anatomy areas within the body which need coverage eg abdomen, pelvis or both thighs.

Musculoskeletal problems, particularly in trauma and sports injuries, and oncology work relies on image contrast, SNR, spatial detail and reduction of artefacts. With oblique and volumetric scanning and excellent soft tissue delineation our 1.5T magnets are ideally suited for this. We have an extensive range of dedicated receiver coils allowing us to scan patients faster, take thinner slices (with higher SNR) and provide higher quality images to aid diagnosis. These coils are various types of synergy, sense, phased-array and quadrature.
