Ultrasound

Our Ultrasound service consists of a Toshiba Aplio XG - Next Generation Scanning System. We use our ultrasound service as a diagnostic tool to offer our patients the highest quality, one stop, Consultant led service. Patients are referred to one of our disease-specific Consultant Radiologist by their doctor or a medical practitioner.

Ultrasound is a 'safe' environment and does not utilise radiation. The equipment at CIC is operated by specialist trained Consultant Radiologists with a member of CIC staff acting as a chaperone to the patient - unless the patient requests a friend or relative.
