Million Metre Challenge
In a bid to raise £1 million for Cobalt's Heart Mind & Body
Scanner Appeal, our Finance Director, Tabitha Scrivener, has
taken on a monumental challenge!
She has challenged herself to row 1 million metres in 100 days
on a Concept2 rowing machine. Clocking up the metres in her lunch
hour each day, Tabitha is asking for people to come and keep her
company and row alongside her in an attempt to raise even more
money for Cobalt.
You can even join Tabitha from the comfort of your own home, or
at your gym/fitness club. She's looking for 100 people to sign up
to row 10km and to raise a minimum of £100 each.
Tabitha says "Why this challenge? I was working out on my ergo
one evening thinking about what I could do for the Heart Mind &
Body Appeal when I had a lightbulb moment: how long would it take
me to row a million metres? So I decided to challenge myself to
10,000 metres a day for 100 days in the hope to make a significant
contribution to this worthwhile cause. Please follow my progress -
your support is truly motivating!"
