"My wife and I were able to take the opportunity to update our Wills in return for the suggested donation, during Cobalt's Make a Will Month.  With this generous offer came a chance to fulfil a "quiet thought" that we had both shared for some time.

Twelve years ago initial MRI scanning at the Cobalt Linton House Clinic had confirmed the diagnosis of a pituitary tumour ... regular monitoring with MRI scans and clinical reviews have followed.  The opportunity for us to express our appreciation of the excellent treatment and service received over the years was abundantly clear.

My wife and I were delighted to incorporate a legacy to Cobalt in our Wills - the need for a continual funding stream for research, training and the very best diagnostic scanning equipment is vital and we are happy to lend our support in future years." John, Pershore

Nick Brotherton "My partner visited Cobalt's Cheltenham Imaging Centre when she first had cancer.  We are sure that the early and accurate diagnosis they gave helped plan the best possible treatment and put her on the way to recover very quickly.

We both feel very fortunate to have Cobalt, this wonderful charity, in the area and have each decided to leave a legacy in our Will to ensure their ongoing support for people like us, with cancer or life-limiting illnesses, in the future."  Nick Brotherton

A Will is an important document that we should all have to make sure that our family and loved ones are looked after.  But from time to time it is important to re-visit our Will as inevitably, circumstances change over the years.

Does your Will reflect your current circumstances and wishes?

April is Cobalt's Make a Will Month when many solicitors in towns across Gloucestershire (also in Worcester, Hereford and Ross-on-Wye) are giving their expertise and time for free to make or to update a straightforward Will, in return for a donation to Cobalt.  To get your Make a Will pack with a list of participating solicitors and a voucher to have a basic Will written, contact Zena Giles Legacy Officer.  Email zena.giles@cobalthealth.co.uk or telephone 01242 535922.
