Karen Hackling-Searle celebrates 30 years of service

On Wednesday 14th June medical imaging charity Cobalt took time out to thank and reward their Head of MRI, Karen Hackling-Searle for 30 fantastic years of service, along with other team members who had also achieved decade milestones. Certificates and gift vouchers were awarded by Neil Holbrook, Chair of the board of trustees.

Karen said “As an innovative charity I have been fortunate to be actively involved in some extraordinary developments over the three decades. When I started there were a total of three radiographers working for Cobalt, now there are one hundred. The technology has evolved beyond all recognition, as we believe in investing in the latest technology which brings tangible benefits to our patients, both in terms of their scanning experience and in aiding a rapid and accurate diagnosis. It is this commitment to patient care and innovation, that keeps my role so interesting and motivating every day, as well as the work the charity does to support patient outcomes now and in the future”.

We are grateful for Karen’s commitment and that of many other employees who between them have dedicated decades of their careers to the charity.
