Cobalt Partnerships

Together we can give people the early diagnosis and the care that they need. Working with partners allows us to increase public awareness and income and to develop a programme of engagement that works for your organisation, whilst raising money for vital healthcare projects in our community and beyond.

Are you a company or business?

Why not associate with a local cause known to your staff and their family and your customers. We will work with you to create fundraising and volunteer opportunities. We can achieve impact and media coverage and help you to achieve your charity goals – as well as raising vital funds for Cobalt.

Iress

IRESS - Cobalt Health Partner

Local technology company, Iress has chosen to support us with a year-long partnership including volunteering and a variety of fundraising activities.

Iress has been supporting Cobalt for just over two years with activities including volunteering and a variety of fundraising raffles, challenge events and more.  The global company employs just under 700 people in the UK, of which over 250 are based in Cheltenham. Iress supplies technology solutions for clients across the financial services market.

This partnership has been enabled by the Iress Foundation, a global initiative launched in March 2017 to actively support those less fortunate by supporting regional community initiatives with volunteering and fundraising. The support provided by Iress has gone towards Cobalt’s Dementia Futures Fund, which improves the way we diagnose and treat dementia and towards our Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) Cancer Nurse, who works with all 16 – 25 year olds with cancer across the three counties.

Some of their fundraising activities have been in house, such as raffles, quizzes and donations from the tuck shop. Iress have also been keen to get their hands dirty and have completely renovated both the garden and the end-of-life room at the Charlton Lane dementia wards. Adventurous staff have also completed the three peaks challenge, the inflatable 5K and some are keen to take on the Devil’s Aquathlon this year!

Their support continues throughout 2020 and we are incredibly grateful to all of the staff that have so whole heartedly supported their local medical charity – thank you!
