Cobalt welcome in spring with a themed event
28th February 2017
Cobalt are holding a family friendly day in spring kicking off a series of seasonal events this year. The spring event takes place on Saturday 11 March at the Charity’s offices at Linton House, Thirlestaine Road, Cheltenham from 11.00am to 1.30pm.
Visitors will be able to learn about the work the charity does through informal talks and tours of the Imaging Centre and scanners. A leading floral designer will be demonstrating stunning displays and samples of natural organic beauty products from a representative of Neal’s Yard Remedies will be available. Supporters can get ready for Easter and try their hand at card making, hatch their own woolly Easter chick or choose some beautiful flowering bulbs to take away. There will be a pop up café with informal talks where tea and coffee will be served alongside homemade treats.
Kirsty Bradbury, Fundraising Engagement Officer said: “The spring event kicks off a series of seasonal events at Cobalt to raise awareness of what we do and much needed donations to continue our work locally. We’re very grateful to businesses for giving up their time to come and support us.”
