Coffee that counts
Cobalt is aiming to raise £5000 for the PET/CT campaign this winter with coffee mornings.
A new digital PET/CT scanner will see 40% more patients each day, helping to reduce the NHS backlog, it will also have shorter scan times and have clearer images for diagnosis.
Can you help us? Can you and your friends hold a coffee morning this winter?
If 20 coffee mornings each raise £250 we will raise £5000!
Want to chat about the idea? Call Kirsty or Liz on 01242 535922 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Easy numbers: invite 20 people, ask them to pay £2 to come along, and pay £5 for a drink and cake, hold a small raffle charging £1 per ticket (prizes can be home baking, homegrown plants, a box of chocolates, a bottle of wine) and have a cake or produce stall selling goodies to take home. This could easily raise £250.

PET/CT scanner appeal
Find out more about the appeal here.
We are delighted to launch our new appeal to purchase the very latest digital PET/CT technology, which will support NHS patients throughout the Three Counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The new digital PET/CT scanner will be one of only six digital scanners in the country. This will enable patients to be seen quickly, and with short scan times, we can see more patients every day.
