Cobalt has always worked with medical equipment suppliers like Philips and Siemens, to introduce the latest technology. We are delighted to be the first mobile CT scanning provider in the UK to install the new Medrad Centargo, a CT scanning contrast media injector.

About 90% of patients having a CT will have an injection of contrast; this shows the blood supply within the body. The contrast injector is a very important device, as it has to deliver the right amount of contrast, at the right time safely.

This new system helps automate an existing manual process allowing clinical staff to spend more time with the patients and reducing plastic waste.
