Flowers, mulled wine and mince pies make for a festive Christmas event
25th November 2019
Visitors to a Gloucestershire garden centre can start to get in the mood for Christmas with a festive flower arranging demonstration set to take place this week. RHS Chelsea Gold Medallist Katherine Keir will be sharing her award winning expertise at the event.
In aid of Cobalt, the special evening will be held on Friday 29th November at Trioscape Garden Centre, Highleadon, Newent between 19:00-20:30. Tickets are £6.00 and include mulled wine and mince pies.
All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Cobalt. Trioscape will also be able to double their donation to Cobalt in December through our involvement in The Big Give. The Big Give launches on #GivingTuesday, 3 December from 12 noon until Tuesday 10 December. Every donation given to Cobalt through The Big Give website up to £25,000 will raise funds for two new Breast Cancer Research nurses. This means a fantastic £50,000 will be up for grabs. This will enable us to maximise the amount raised through the event.
Julia Jenkins, Head of Fundraising, Cobalt said “We are delighted that Trioscape have chosen to support us with this fantastic event. It’s a great opportunity to get in the mood for Christmas and a chance to grab some last minute gifts including art, toys and books as well as the usual garden centre wares.”
