Green fingered gardening fans in for a treat with charity plant sale
3rd May 2017
Green fingered gardening fans will be in for a treat when Cobalt invite supporters to their annual plant sale on Saturday 13 May.
The sale kindly supported by local nursery Greenway in Shurdington will see keen gardeners able to choose from a large range of bright and colourful bedding plants, perennials, vegetables, fruit trees and shrubs. Visitors will also be able to sample refreshments including delicious homemade cakes.
The sale will be held at the Charity’s offices from 10am to 1pm at Linton House, Thirlestaine Road, Cheltenham. Volunteers will be on hand to direct visitors.
Pam Brookes who has volunteered for the Charity for over 20 years and who has organised the event said “Last year we raised over £1000. A variety of plants and shrubs will be on offer so it will be a great opportunity to grab some bargains to brighten up those summer borders”.
Kirsty Bradbury, Fundraising Engagement Officer said “The plant sale will be followed by further fundraising events with a horticultural feel including the stunning open gardens at Stowell Park and Highnam Court”.
