Our recent fundraising event at Highnam Court in Gloucester was a huge success, raising over £3,500 for medical charity Cobalt. The weather on Sunday was lovely despite an initial cloudy start, and the sunshine attracted a huge number of visitors from across Gloucestershire to see the wonderful gardens.
Everyone really enjoyed the gardens and Kirsty’s ‘Cobalt Pop Up Café’ in the orangery with visitors commenting on the incredible variety of homemade cakes, the yummy cream teas and the light lunches provided by volunteers.
Thank you so much to everyone who supported the event from visitors to volunteers and of course Mr Roger Head OBE of Highnam Court.
We must also give a special thank you to Little Verzons, Cotteswold Dairy and Rodda’s for their support during this event.
Hopefully we can do it all over again next year.
