Little girl’s sponsored walk for Cobalt
29th August 2017
We have been bowled over by 6 year old Kira‘s act of kindness. Pint sized Kira Wray completed a 10 mile walk around the Forest of Dean on Sunday 27th August 2017.
Kira said “At school we recently spoke about acts of kindness and how it is important to think of others before yourself. I have decided I want to do a walk so the charity can continue the fantastic work they do”.
Julia Jenkins, Head of Fundraising said “Cobalt is a local charity that helps people affected by cancer, dementia and other conditions through using the latest scanning equipment and technology. We are delighted by Kira’s support. She has already raised over £100 which is fantastic. We are currently raising money to buy a new MRI scanner for our imaging centre in Cheltenham so the money Kira raises will be well spent.
