MRI in Practice
The MRI in Practice course is delivered by the authors Catherine Westbrook and John Talbot. This course is recognised as the Gold Standard for Radiographers.
MRI in Practice
”MRI in Practice” the book, was first published in 1993. It is considered an essential text for many MRI courses including post graduate MRI programmes in the UK. Delegates can choose to take the Fundamentals two day course, two day Additional Concepts course or complete the whole course days 1-4. The Fundamentals course runs on days 1-2 and the Additional Concepts course on days 3-4. Those with limited MRI experience may just wish to attend the first two days and follow up later with days 3 and 4.
The MRI in Practice courses are very popular and book up a long time in advance. Plan ahead to avoid disappointment. There are discounts for early bookings too! It is possible to attend all four days, however we do not recommend this for anyone who is new to MRI, or anyone who would find four days of lectures too intensive.

Essential Guide to Philips in MRI
The Essential Guide to Philips in MRI course runs 6-9 November 2017 and 19-22 March 2018.
The Philips Essentials course is a version of our popular MRI in Practice course, tailored for Philips users. In addition to the lectures, there is the possibility of a Philips applications specialist at hand for queries.
Like MRI in Practice, this course provides a modular approach to accommodate all levels of knowledge and is split into Fundamentals and Additional Concepts levels running consecutively over a four day period. Those with limited MRI experience may wish to attend the first two days (Fundamentals) then follow up later with the last two days (Additional Concepts).
