The Muddy Funkers were a group of supporters who embarked on an epic journey with their bikes to raise money for Cobalt. The following is part three of five blogs they wrote for us along the way. If they inspire you then get in touch to see how you could support us.
Day 3!! Ready to Roll!! Sedbergh to Aysgarth. 41miles, 5900ft climbing. 6hours 10mins moving time!!! That was one tough day but worth every push.
Big thanks to Allan for the road support and all the organising and a huge thanks to Pittville for the wheels!!! This would not be possible with it!!!!
Fair to say we were wild eyed gibbering wrecks when we finally came down out of the hills yesterday! Massive thanks to Allen for driving the van and keeping things organised behind the scenes, couldn’t do it without him.
Big thanks to Noahs Ark bike shop in Stroud for the free energy and hydration stuff, definitely helped us over the many many false summits of the Garburn pass.
