Cobalt has once again been successfully accredited with the Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI)

Medical imaging charity Cobalt Health, are delighted to announce that they have once again been successfully accredited with the Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI). The standard has been developed by The Royal College of Radiologists and the College of Radiographers to set out the criteria that define a quality imaging service. Cobalt was the first imaging service to achieve the accreditation in 2010 and has maintained the accreditation for the twelve years since, evidencing its commitment to providing a patient-focused, consistently high-quality service, delivered by competent staff working in safe environments.

Peter Sharpe, Cobalt Health Chief Executive said ‘The entire Cobalt team play their part in achieving this accreditation, they work collaboratively to consistently assess, and where possible improve, all of the elements that make up our imaging services. I am proud of the positive feedback we receive every day from our patients, it is a direct reflection of our dedication to delivering at the highest possible standard.’

In addition to QSI, Cobalt is accredited with ISO 9001:2015 for its Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2015 for its Environmental Management System, both of which demonstrate its achievements and commitment to consistent improvement in these areas.
