Gift Aid is a scheme that allows charities to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer, which means your donations will be worth 25% more to us at no extra cost to you. If you agree to Gift Aid your donations, we can claim back from the government 25p for every £1 you donate to Cobalt.
This additional income really does make a big difference, so if you are an eligible UK taxpayer, please don’t forget to us to let us know you would like to Gift Aid your donations.

We no longer collect books, jigsaw puzzles, blankets/baby or doll knits or bric-a-brac. We do not collect old clothes and currently do not undertake house clearance.

We are really grateful for any involvement from Local Schools and Sixth Form Centres. There are a number of ways pupils can raise money, from having a school disco, fancy dress / mufti day, collecting buckets at the end of a summer fete to holding a cake sale at the school gates. We have an annual photography competition which has an under 16’s category and all the funds from this support our Teenage and Young Adults cancer nurse who is based locally.
We want to raise as much money as possible so to ensure that we can support people today and in the future with Cancer and Dementia. We are so grateful to businesses large or small that nominate Cobalt as their charity partner. If you decide to choose Cobalt as your company charity partner please let us know and we will be delighted to help and support you reach your fundraising target.
We would be delighted to come along to tell your group about our work. Please give the fundraising office a call on 01242 535992 to organise.
