Cobalt is thrilled to announce a new and exciting fundraising adventure – the Berber Mountain Challenge! Set in the breath-taking High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, this 5-day trek spans 50 km across rugged terrain, through traditional Berber villages, and stunning mountain passes.
Participants will trek up to altitudes of 2,200m, experiencing the beauty of remote landscapes and authentic Berber culture. This once-in-a-lifetime experience isn’t just a personal challenge – it’s an opportunity to raise vital funds to support Cobalt’s life-saving work, including diagnostic imaging and cancer and dementia research.
The trek will be led by experienced guides from Tribal Tracks, with all meals, accommodation, and local support provided. Participants will camp under the stars, enjoy Berber hospitality, and push their limits in one of the world’s most beautiful mountain ranges.
Dates
The challenge takes place over five days from 1 October to 5 October, with a detailed itinerary of 50 km, starting in Marrakech.
Cost
£1,295 including flights + £700 fundraising commitment for Cobalt.
