Saturday 4 February is World Cancer Day, a leading international awareness day focused on raising awareness of cancer and celebrating the progress made, which enables more cancer patients to seek and receive the care they need and deserve. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Cobalt Health is a medical charity established in 1964 with the key goal of delivering improvements in clinical diagnosis and treatments and helping people affected by cancer, dementia and other conditions. ❤️

Some of the many ways Cobalt is supporting the fight against cancer:

🔸 Providing ultra-low dose CT scans across the UK supporting the NHS England Targeted Lung Health Check programme.

🔹 Funding two NHS breast cancer research nurses to improve patient treatment and outcomes in the future.

🔸 Recently invested 2.6m in a new digital PET/CT scanner and the expansion of its PET/CT department to support more cancer patients more quickly.

🔹 Offering specialist MRI and PET/CT prostate scans for patients to enable an earlier diagnosis, better treatment options and outcomes for patients.
