We are a medical charity providing cutting edge diagnostic imaging.  

We offer state of the art MRI, PET/CT, CT, X-ray and Ultrasound scanning services. We also provide education and training, medical research and support for local hospital diagnostic services.

We support people with cancer and other life-limiting conditions. Since 1964 Cobalt has provided the NHS with £millions of equipment and services. - read more 

Cobalt offers low cost, fast access appointments including One Stop Clinics  for a number of specialities, providing consultation, imaging, diagnosis and a treatment plan within a few hours. We have one of the few open MRI scanners in the country, making the experience more comfortable for anyone who suffers from claustrophobia.

We offer training and education in the form of  MRI courses and PET/CT lectures for doctors and healthcare professionals, and our Cancer Prevention and Health Education  team visits local schools, companies and community/social groups to deliver free talks and workshops to over 2,500 local people each year.

Cobalt maximises it's benefit to the public by combining pioneering medical imaging, with research into diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions including cancer.
