The Big Give Christmas Challenge
From Tuesday 2nd December 12:00PM to Tuesday 9th December 12:00PM, your donation will go twice as far! Thanks to our generous pledgers, every pound you give will be matched, with up to £18,600 in match funding available.
For example, a donation of £55 to Cobalt through the Big Give, when combined with Gift Aid and match funding, transforms into an impressive £123.75.
This year, every penny raised through the campaign will directly fund dementia research trials here in Cheltenham.
What is the Big Give?
The Big Give is a match funding platform dedicated to making it easy for the public and funders to give to impactful charities. The Christmas Challenge is the UK’s biggest match-funded campaign and we need your support to help fund our breast cancer research nurses and clinical trials.

Meet our research nurses
Meet Minna, a Research Coordinator at Thirlestaine Breast Centre, and Rekha, the Lead Research Nurse at Thirlestaine Breast Centre. Both of their roles are funded by Cobalt.
Double your impact
For seven days, the Christmas challenge offers supporters of Cobalt the opportunity to have their donations matched (up to £20,000). So any donation you make towards supporting Cobalt between 3rd December – 10th December will be doubled without any extra cost to you!
