Cobalt’s journey to net zero

Cobalt is proud to be part of the journey to net zero.

We’re committed to reaching net zero carbon emissions by 2035, and achieving a net zero supply chain by 2045.

What does that actually mean?

By 2035, we aim to stop contributing to the build-up of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane in the atmosphere. In other words, the carbon we emit will be balanced out by the carbon we remove.

We’re already making progress

✅ Smarter scanning: New software helps power down scanners outside of operating hours.

✅ Energy-saving upgrades: Improved insulation at Cobalt Imaging Centre has helped cut our energy use, saving an impressive 40 tonnes of CO₂ so far.
