The Event is delivered in partnership with Dunkertons (“Venue Partner”).

1.4. These Terms and Conditions apply in addition to any applicable terms shown on the Eventbrite checkout and any venue rules notified to you on the day.
1.5. The Event is a charity fundraiser. Funds raised support Cobalt’s charitable work.

  1. Registration and Tickets

2.1. All attendees must be registered (hold a valid ticket/entry) before attending. You may be asked to show your order confirmation/QR code at check-in.
2.2. Your ticket provides entry to the line dancing session during the advertised times. Unless stated otherwise on the Event listing, food and drink are not included and will be available to purchase from the Venue Partner.
2.3. Tickets are non-transferable unless the Organiser agrees otherwise in writing. Resale of tickets is prohibited.
2.4. Refunds: refunds are available up to 7 days before the Event (in line with the refund policy shown on the Event listing/checkout). Refund requests within 7 days of the Event will not be accepted. Any refunds (where applicable) will be handled in line with platform requirements (e.g., Eventbrite).
2.5. We reserve the right to refuse entry, or remove an attendee from the Event, if they do not comply with these Terms and Conditions or instructions from event staff/volunteers.

  1. Health, Safety and Fitness to Participate

3.1. The Event involves a group line dancing session led by an instructor. Participation is optional and you are responsible for taking part at a pace that is suitable for you.
3.2. You confirm that you are physically and medically fit to take part. If you have any medical condition or injury that may affect your ability to participate safely, you should seek medical advice before attending and/or choose not to take part in the dancing element.
3.3. If you feel unwell, dizzy, short of breath, or experience pain at any point, you must stop immediately and seek assistance from event staff or venue staff.
3.4. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for light-to-moderate physical activity on an indoor floor. For safety, do not participate if your footwear is unsafe for dancing (e.g., unstable heels or footwear likely to slip).
3.5. You must follow any reasonable safety instructions from the instructor, event staff/volunteers and venue staff.

  1. Event Conduct

4.1. You must behave respectfully towards other attendees, staff, volunteers, the instructor, and venue staff.
4.2. You must follow any reasonable instructions from event staff/volunteers, the instructor and the Venue Partner, including instructions given for safety reasons.
4.3. The Venue Partner’s house rules apply. Anyone asked to leave by the Venue Partner (for example due to unsafe behaviour, intoxication, or breach of venue rules) will be required to leave the Event.
4.4. Alcohol: alcohol may be available to purchase at the Venue, subject to licensing laws and the Venue Partner’s policies. We operate a Challenge 25 approach where applied by the Venue Partner and you may be asked to show ID. Attendees must not behave in a way that puts themselves or others at risk.
4.5. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to aggressive, unsafe, abusive, discriminatory or harassing behaviour. Anyone behaving in this way may be removed from the Event without refund.

  1. Fundraising

5.1. Participants may choose to fundraise in support of Cobalt in connection with the Event.
5.2. If you fundraise, you must do so in a lawful and responsible manner and in a way that does not bring Cobalt into disrepute.
5.3. Any money paid to Cobalt as a donation will be treated as a donation and is generally non-refundable, even if you later do not attend the Event, unless required by law.
5.4. If you wish to use Cobalt’s name or logo for fundraising materials outside of standard platform tools (e.g., JustGiving), please contact us for approval.

  1. Children, Supervision and Accessibility

6.1. Children/young people must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. The supervising adult is responsible for the child/young person’s conduct and safety during the Event.
