Yesterday, we participated in the launch event of the NHS Targeted Lung Health Check programme in North East Lincolnshire.

Working in partnership with the NHS, including Humber and North Yorkshire Cancer Alliance, Cobalt is really proud to extend its support of the Targeted Lung Health Check programme to the community in North East Lincolnshire, providing ultra-low-dose CT scans to those most at risk of developing lung cancer. 🤍

Cobalt Chief Executive, Peter Sharpe, said: ‘We are delighted to be extending the programme into North East Lincolnshire with our NHS colleagues and Siemens Healthineers, the Lung Health Check programme saves lives and we would encourage all those invited to attend their appointments.’.

The service goes live today, Wednesday 22 March. Cobalt’s integrated mobile units, including the state-of-the-art mobile CT, will be based at the Tesco Superstore in Immingham, so a huge thank you to Tesco for helping provide this service away from a hospital setting.
